Robert Viglasky is a professional photographer whose work concentrates on movie stills photography and portraiture. He also works in street and documentary photography, areas that have influenced his photographic style. Whether on the film set or on a photographic assignment, Robert is recognised for ‘capturing the moment’ and for his friendly but professional approach.
Robert has worked as a movie stills photographer on several feature films including the award winning British film “Treacle Jr” (2011), “The Seasoning House” (2012), and “Svengali” (2013). Robert also assisted Alex Bailey on the Universal Pictures film “Snow White and The Huntsman” (2012). His latest work includes the new BBC2 epic gangster saga “Peaky Blinders” (2013) starring Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill and the BBC1 psychological crime drama “Luther series 3” (2013) starring Idris Elba and Ruth Wilson. Robert is currently covering the new BBC1 TV movie “The Great Train Robbery” (2013) starring Luke Evans and the third series of BBC1 crime drama “Sherlock 3” (2013) starring Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbath.
Robert studied photography at the University of Westminster, London, graduating with a first class BA (Honours) in Photography.
